THE NIBROC TRILOGY by Arlene Hutton
*Fantastic! I was deeply moved by the play. The actors were incredible, the script was delightful and the directing inspired by God. Kudos!
*Last night was a wonderful night of Theatre ... GULF VIEW DRIVE was as fine a show as I've seen on the stage in Dallas, any theatre, any time!
*[T]he best play I have seen in years ... Congratulations on such a stellar presentation.
*[NIBROC] was one of the best shows I have ever seen in Dallas ... yes, the cast was superb ... Before I went I was afraid I might nod off or be bored...but I couldn't have been more engaged with that wonderfully engaging show!! THANKS, and major kudos!

AMERICAN CASSANDRA: DÉJÀ VU Created by Rhonda Blair
*...this is a wonderful example of the "collusion, infusion, and collaboration," between classroom and outside performance experience ...

COCO & GIGI by Isabella Russell-Ides
*I thought COCO & GIGI was one of the best plays — local or otherwise — I have seen in a very long time ... Echo did a fabulous job of bringing the richness, warmth, color and joy ... to life. Thank you for sharing a divine experience with me.
*It was one of those rare, magical theater nights.

THE LADIES OF THE CAMELLIAS by Lillian Groag
*Turn off the TV. Forget the movies. Treat yourself to a beautiful sunset on White rock Lake and a funny and warm play. We have a quality acting ensemble right here in town every night ... [A]bsolutely a treat.
*I’m impressed with the depth of talent, passion and artistry in our community. You assembled a truly wonderful cast and supported them with strong design and clear, vibrant direction. My congratulations!"
*[O]ur little League group had a HIGHlarious time this past Sunday, enjoying your magnificent cast of characters - each performed with such enormous energy and exquisite charm.

STRING OF PEARLS by Michele Lowe
*It was a delight to watch four amazingly talented women get to 'go out and play' like that ... I was entranced.
*COMPLETELY loved last night's production of STRING OF PEARLS. And so did my boyfriend, who was pretty worn out from a long day and thought he might fall asleep...until he got there and was too interested to even think about being tired.
*I'm no theater critic, but I know what I like and I LOVED this play. The writing, the actors, the characters, the costumes, the set, the theater seating. As the saying goes ... You Go Girl!

WOMEN AND HORSES AND A SHOT STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE by Mary F. Casey
*My two daughters and I saw WOMEN AND HORSES on Saturday night -- we all loved it! Every single actor in the play did a great job and the time just flew by because we were all enthralled with the story.
*I just wanted to let you know that [our friend] said that the Echo Theatre production was GREAT! She has been talking about it ever since ... She said it was all amazing and the sets, quality of the production and acting were superb.

TOUGH CHOICES FOR THE NEW CENTURY by Jane Anderson
* It was my favorite show at FIT. I thought that the actors were HYSTERICAL!!! They were so natural and committed to their cause. Your staging, the bits, and the relationships were seamless.

SAILING TO BYZANTIUM by Sandra Deer
* ...can't remember when I've enjoyed a show so much. And what a cast!! This was the third play for me in a week and the only one I'd recommend to anyone! It is such a joy to see such good work done ... it was seamless. Congratulations!!
* I enjoyed your lovely production of SAILING TO BYZANTIUM, with its beautiful set, lighting, and costumes.

FREEDOMLAND by Amy Freed
* ... an extremely moving experience and it seriously brought me to tears... I could relate to the family's dysfunction, with one achieving sister and one underachieving one, plus the intellectual dad...very talented cast!
* LOVED THIS SHOW! LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT! I just want you all to know how much I enjoyed it. Kudos to all!
* It was magic. Congratulations on a magnificent production. BRAVO!

OFF THE MAP by Joan Ackermann
* OFF THE MAP will be forever in my top ten favorite plays, movies, etc.!!
* What a beautiful piece of theatre you created...the set was so rich, almost a character in itself. The script was entrancing and so many fine performances...but it is Arlene that stayed with me -- such a giving, loving performance -- when she crawls into the tub with her daughter -- Oh my!
* ...such an affirming, healing evening in the theater. Open, honest, unpretentious. All the details were right, the casting was wonderful. You Echo women really do excellent work.
* Some of the best theatre I've seen in a long, long time.

KINDERTRANSPORT by Diane Samuels
* BRAVO! It is one of the most beautiful pieces of theatre I have ever witnessed.
* What an incredible story, amazing script, stellar cast, splendid direction, beautiful set, superb lighting, lovely costumes and all-around magnificent production.
* KINDERTRANSPORT was very impressive...Marilyn and Elly, especially, just blew me away. There were times with Marilyn where I just "forgot" her and thus only the character was present -- that's the BEST theater experience for me. Rare and beautiful!

BOY GETS GIRL by Rebecca Gilman
* Your production of BOYS GETS GIRL last night was splendid. The acting, directing and staging were professional and highly entertaining. The best play I've seen in some time. Thank you!
* Excellent script, universally strong performances by the actors and smart set design.
* The last 4 plays I've seen in town have been your group and you continue to amaze me and produce such TOP quality shows!
* Loved BOY GETS GIRL so much! Production could be envy of others in NYC or London.

CLOUD NINE by Caryl Churchill
* Outstanding play, production and acting!
* I really enjoyed your performance of CLOUD NINE. It's wonderful that such daring work can be performed here in Dallas.
* The production was TERRIFIC. The cast was strong through and through and through; I can't imagine better performances than were given in each role. Echo should be very proud of this production!

AMERICAN BURKA by Rhonda Blair & Company
* Riveting! My husband and I LOVED it!!!
* It is a "must see" for any young woman ... and we would suggest a viewing for young men as well!!!
* It is thought provoking, funny, maddening, and very excellent work!
* The next VAGINA MONOLOGUES!

AN ALMOST HOLY PICTURE by Heather McDonald
* Very impressive play! Keep up the good, innovative work!
* The play was excellent...We have never been disappointed with an Echo production.
* AN ALMOST HOLY PICTURE was very good...Raphael Perry was as great an actor as usual!
* Your production of AN ALMOST HOLY PICTURE was truly the most amazing and provocative work of theatre I have seen performed in such a long time. Thank you for a truly outstanding evening of theatre.

STOP KISS by Diana Son
* It was excellent! I'm so glad I went. Thank you for your hard work and vision!! what a fabulous director Rhonda is. That play is complicated!

BROWNIES: A TALE OF TEXIAN WOMEN by Vicki Caroline Cheatwood
* Wonderful production. Your presentation of a family history rivaled Ken Burns PBS presentations. Really enjoyed it!
* We thought BROWNIES was very well written and very well performed. It was an interesting history lesson, too. We have never been disappointed with Echo.
* Thank you for all the hard work and skill you brought to a wonderful production! It was such a witness and a symbol of what we strive to do in art and particularly in the theatre: to make the truth in our lives come to life. Thank you.
* Congratulations on such great work! It was a wonderful, lively production -- showed all the good things about Echo! Support of new plays, women playwrights and women's work, and really thoughtful yet fun theatre.

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES by Eve Ensler
* ...thought the interpretations were wonderful! All in all -- fantastic!
* I felt privileged to be invited into something both intimate and urgent; funny and poignant; liberating and challenging. I applaud that this was a benefit for the service providers. That is a wonderful form of solidarity. The acting was uniformly deep and convincing. I hope you will consider more of these "salon" type events.

LEMONADE by Eve Ensler
* Linda Ford was terrific! The rest of the cast wasn't bad either. T.A. was wonderfully suspicious. Pam was great too. How nice to see such a great role for a middle-aged woman. Go Echo, you guys rock!!
* We really enjoyed your production of LEMONADE. (From 2 ladies from NYC and supporters of Women's Works, especially Eve Ensler!)
* We enjoyed the production of LEMONADE. I like the small atmosphere of this theatre.

GOBLIN MARKET by Polly Pen and Peggy Harmon, music by Polly Pen
* I loved the characters -- the younger was so vulnerable in her role, and the other so marvelously uninhibited in expressing those feelings/urges we dare not talk about...I regret that we have to wait so long for another production -- thank you, thank you, thank you!
* Lovely production!
* Well done, great actresses, wonderful voices.

FEFU AND HER FRIENDS by Maria Irene Fornes
* Lovely! Beautiful cast, smoothly performed, customers were so pretty and the sets were inviting. The second act was very nicely accomplished and made the experience personal and immediate. LOVED Cindy Beall's Fefu! (A young Angela Lansbury). Beth Bontley and Pam Myers-Morgan were so believable. And Julia played by Linda Marie Ford was heartbreakingly moving. A wonderful night, a treat and an accomplishment to be proud of! Congratulations and many thanks! (Opening act was haunting and gorgeous!!)
* Opening night was terrific! The entire cast was fabulous and moving to different rooms was so unique. It was an enjoyable evening, even if I didn't entirely understand the play.
* I'm an avid theatre goer -- and I must say this is one of the best productions I've seen in a long time -- Excellent set & lighting design; superb direction and attention to detail! Great cast -- I was in particular impressed with Ms. Beall and Ms. Bontley -- I've seen "Fefu" and its promenade staging before -- but this is certainly the best production of it I've seen -- I look forward to more work by this group -- especially directed by Mr. Fisher.

ECHO PRESENTS...'99
* Really liked Rhonda's two step and cards, but thoroughly enjoyed the show. Well done!!
* So creative and deep -- really gets to the heart of how we feel! Thank you! Loved it!!!

WHY WE HAVE A BODY by Claire Chafee
* Wonderful play! Thoughtful, moving, intelligent, tight staging and performance -- all your women gave strong performances!
* Wonderful -- Women; Wonderful -- Exploring; Wonderful -- Women
* Most incredible and moving, full of passion and meaning and excellence...more, more, more...
* Another unique evening at the theater!! Thanks again for bringing classy, thought provoking theater to Dallas...we need it!!

OUT ALL NIGHT AND LOST MY SHOES by Terry Galloway
* Terry Galloway's performance was fabulous and moving.
* Terry's blend of humor and poignancy were absolutely compelling...I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a solo performance so much.
* Terry's performance moved me to tears and laughter; often both at once.
* Echo Theatre is nice, friendly...warm with no fear. Follow your flying arrow!

DREAM OF A COMMON LANGUAGE by Heather McDonald
* The whole thing was such a wonderful, loving, caring production. Very good acting, I thought, particularly Act II. It just kind of levitated! I was absolutely in that world you created. God, I thought it was wonderful. It was one of the best things I've seen, certainly this year, anywhere. And a very challenging play.
* Stimulating, complex, well done!
* Mysterious, lyrical, enchanting, and full of hope. Delightful performances!
* I wanted to applaud and shout and give a standing ovation.
