Welcome to the historical New England home of Noah Underfinger, the setting for a dark comedy about a modern dysfunctional family. Noah (a retired professor of religion), his wife Claude (a sex therapist), and three estranged siblings (an unemployed Greek scholar, a successful painter of bad clown art, and an unbalanced survivalist) reunite to search for simpler times -- a world of black and white that they glimpsed once on a childhood trip to "Freedomland."
