At the Bath House Cultural Center
White Rock Lake, Dallas, Texas
September 8 - 25, 2010
Directed by Pam Myers-Morgan
Featuring
Kristin McCollum and Sylvia Luedtke
With David Jeremiah, Neeley Joneā, Mollie Milligan and Jordan Willis
Lisa's here to present her "theatrical exploration." Her mother's in the audience ... or on stage ... or somewhere. But it's not a play about her mother -- Lisa says so.
So what is it about? A neighborhood was sick and it got well. Lisa was sick and she got well. The story of how this happened is brought to spontaneous life through this wonderfully anything-goes solo piece (with other people in it)! But as hard as Lisa tries to keep things on track, her exploration gradually escapes her control and madly gallops away on its own.
It's the feel-bad comedy of the season!

"One of the funniest performances of the year...
I recommend that you rush out and get a ticket right now.
Because I said so. And I know what I'm talking about."
- Mark Lowry, Theatre Jones
"... a pointedly funny and ultimately moving show all the way around,
one of the best in Echo's 13-season history."
- Lawson Taitte, Dallas Morning News
"Echo Theatres production of WELL is a hilarious, charming,
and often brutal rumination on health, race, and mother-daughter relationships
that simultaneously entertains while toying with our perceptions of theater."
- Lindsey Wilson, D Magazine
