Season 29 starts in October
Echo Theatre will open our 29th season with two connected theatrical works inspired by internationally celebrated author Isabel Allende: the world-premiere workshop of Of Clay We Are Created, adapted by Stephanie Oustalet from Allende’s short-story collection The Stories of Eva Luna.
The regional premiere of Eva Luna, adapted from Allende’s novel by award-winning playwright Caridad Svich, is a co-productions between Teatro Dallas and Echo Theatre..
Together, the productions explore the power of storytelling to preserve identity, reclaim agency and imagine lives beyond the limitations imposed upon us.

Eva Luna will be staged at Teatro Dallas’ home, the
Latino Cultural Center
whose larger space accommodates the scale of the co-production.
