She survives by telling stories.
Then she makes the story her own.

Born into poverty and orphaned young, Eva Luna survives through the force of her imagination, transforming hardship into story and invisibility into voice. As she moves through a politically volatile South American country populated by revolutionaries, immigrants, artists, sex workers, exiles and dreamers, Eva discovers that storytelling can become a form of power.

Blending magical realism, live music, memory and ensemble-driven storytelling, Eva Luna follows one woman’s journey from invisibility to authorship of her own life.

Echo Theatre and Teatro Dallas join forces for the regional premiere of Caridad Svich’s Eva Luna.
