ELLEN LOCY (Sharon) is delighted to return to Echo Theatre and the Bath House! During her 10 years as a Producing Partner in Echo’s early days, Ellen wore many hats. She developed the Echo Reads series, producing its initial seasons, and also directed OFF THE MAP, DAISY IN THE DREAMTIME, ARIEL BRIGHT, DAUGHTERS OF THE LATE COLONEL, and co-directed Echo’s acclaimed NIBROC TRILOGY. Onstage, Ellen took on challenging roles such as Gigi in COCO AND GIGI, Virginia Woolf in VITA AND VIRGINIA, Olivia in SAILING TO BYZANTIUM, and Theresa in BOY GETS GIRL. Other area acting work includes LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE (CTD), THE WOMEN (Theatre Three), THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA (Teatro Dallas), STEEL MAGNOLIAS (Casa Mañana), THE MEMORY OF WATER (Circle Theatre) and the insanity of the LONE STAR COMEDY troupe. In a decades-long Film/Broadcast career, Ellen worked in hundreds of commercials, industrials and voice-overs, was featured in TV series such as Fear the Walking Dead, In Plain Sight, and The Good Guys, and acted in films directed by Robert Altman, Lee Grant, John Milius, Dennis Dugan, and others. Ellen dedicates this performance to dear friends Spencer Prokop and Carolyn McCormick, in memory of their extraordinary comedy chops and all-around funniness.

Merri Brewer is a native Texan and has appeared onstage at Dallas Theater Center, Theatre Three, Stage West, Echo Theatre, and many other theatres throughout DFW. Represented for broadcast work by The Campbell Agency, Merri has also worked in a variety of film, industrial, and commercial productions. She earned her BFA in Theatre and Television from Texas Christian University and is a National Michael Chekhov Association-certified teacher. She is currently at Theatre Three in Uptown Dallas, where she serves as Managing Director.

Caroline Hamilton is a Dallas-based director, producer and arts manager. She is thrilled to be back at Echo Theatre where she has previously directed Beyond the Yellow Wallpaper, Founders Keepers, It’s My Party! and several Echo Reads readings. Other credits include: Is Edward Snowden Single? and Goat Song (Second Thought Theatre), readings of Bad Books and M-Theory: A Play In 11 Dimensions (Kitchen Dog Theater), and associate directing Julius Caesar (Shakespeare Dallas). She also serves as the Director of Marketing, Sales and Communications at Dallas Theater Center, and holds a BFA in Theatre Studies from SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts.

Jen Silverman (they/them) is a playwright, novelist, and screenwriter. Recent productions include: Creditors (TOGETHER x Audible/Sonia Friedman), the Broadway premiere of The Roommate (starring Mia Farrow & Patti LuPone) and Spain (Second Stage). Other plays include: Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties (MCC), Witch (Geffen Playhouse) and The Moors (Playwrights Realm). Jen’s plays have been produced across the United States at Steppenwolf, The Goodman, Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Huntington, Writers Theatre, Yale Rep, and others. Their plays have been produced internationally in Australia, the UK, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Switzerland, Spain, and elsewhere. Their musical adaptation of Black Swan is upcoming at A.R.T this spring.

Ash (they/them) is so excited to once again be working with Echo Theatre! They have been bouncing around the Dallas theatre world for the last five years in roles ranging from run crew to stage management. Recently they worked on Goblin Market at Theatre Three (Stage Manager), El Rey del Pollo with Echo Theatre (Stage Manager), Most Likely Forever Yours the Elevator Project at Wyly Theatre (Stage Manager), and the Theatre Three 2024-2025 Apprenticeship Program where they completed the Production Assistant track. On the rare occasion they aren't at rehearsal, they spend their time sewing, watching horror movies, or planning their upcoming wedding.

Landry Strickland is the owner of Luminary Technology and Productions, a lighting design/consulting & production management company in Dallas, Texas. He currently serves as the Production Manager for Pegasus Contemporary Ballet’s Synergy, Dallas Chamber Symphony, Lighting Designer & Production Manager for Avant Chamber Ballet, and Head Electrician for Bruce Wood Dance. Previous credits include Lighting Supervisor for Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana’s national tour Fronteras (2022-23), Lighting Designer for Belle Sauvage's The Last Flapper, Theatre Three’s Venus in Fur, Echo Theatre's Founders, Keepers, & Assistant Lighting Designer for Dallas Theater Center's Native Gardens and Public Works Dallas' The Odyssey & The Little Mermaid. Noah James Heller (Sound Designer) is so happy to be working with Echo Theatre once again! He holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Studies from Souther Methodist University, and is currently the Install Supervisor at Zero Productions. Previous Echo sound design credits include Founders Keepers, Beyond the Yellow Wallpaper, in a word, and Natural Shocks. Noah wanted to thank Caroline for bringing him on board, his wife Katie for her love and support, and his two cats Squid and Posie.

Rowan Gilvie is grateful to make their design debut at Echo Theatre, where they have previously been directing and acting. Rowan has performed and designed for theatres all over DFW, including Theatre Three, Stage West, and Casa Mañana, and others elsewhere in the southwest, also working as a voiceover artist. Steven Ploch loves supporting the art of storytelling and is happy to be returning to the Echo Theater family. Past Echo credits include Crystal Skillman’s Open; Ann Timmons’ It’s My Party; Reina Hardy’s The Other Felix (technical support for live screenings). Steven works nationally with KBL Design Group as an Associate Technical Director and Scenic Production Lead. He works locally as a Scenic Designer and Production Lead for Lisa Lee Schmidt’s Big Heart Theater. Steven is currently transitioning into retirement and living abroad as an Abstract Fine Arts Painter.

Bayley Owen, alumnus from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s in Theatre,is excited to make their Costume Design debut for The Roommate! Recent technical credits include Costume Consultant for Rehearsal for Murder! with Pegasus Theatre, Gore Makeup Designer for Ebeneezer Scrooge with Pocket Sandwich Theatre, Assistant Costume Designer for The Producers with NTPA, and Costume Assistant for Les Arts Florissant with the Dallas Bach Society. Recent acting credits include Caterpillar/Time in the regional premier of Alice: A variation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, Romain in the Dallas Opera's Carmen, and Iolaus in The Final Adventure of Hercules.

Echo Theatre would like to thank Stewart for his amazing contributions. He has worked at the BHCC for many years, and has been an invaluable asset to Echo and the many artists who perform here. For this production, he has worked late nights while we rehearsed, done safety checks of our backstage equipment and effects, provided the occasional band-aid, and made things fall from the sky - IYKYK.

MERCEDES KUHN is a playwright, actor, and stage manager, amongst other things. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with her BA in theatre and is also a member of the Dramatists Guild.
