Anna Skidis Vargas is a playmaker, director, actor, and educator who has collaborated with professional and educational stages across the country. Skidis Vargas is an Assistant Professor of Performing Arts and the Artistic Director of Mary Moody Northen Theatre at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Her latest writing projects are El Rey del Pollo, Lloronx, and Lady Party. She has an MFA in Directing from UT Austin, a BA in Performance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and is an alum of the 2018 Rising Leaders of Color cohort with TCG. Her next project is directing and developing Zapata: A Folklórico Superhero Musical by Jesse J. Sanchez at ZACH Theatre.

Amanda Nicole Reyes
Amanda Reyes (she/her) is a Mexican American actor, director, and filmmaker based in Fort Worth, Texas. She holds an M.F.A. in Directing Narrative Cinema from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema in Brooklyn, NY, and a B.A. in Media Arts from the University of North Texas. Amanda’s directing work spans both film and theater. Her recent short film Going Home (2024) premiered at the Panther City Film Festival and was also featured at the San Antonio Film Festival. Additional film credits include Nickel (2025), Rosa’s Esperanza (2018), Pandamonium (2023), and the television pilot for the series Half Life (2018). In theater, Amanda has directed productions such as Try Outs (Booker T. Washington HSVPA), Mi Madre y Yo (American Academy of Dramatic Arts), and Nickel (Collin Theatre Center). Beyond her directing and acting, she is a committed advocate for the arts and currently serves as a Board Member for Amphibian Stage. Amanda is honored to direct this absolutely brilliant and fabulous cast in Echo Theatre’s El Rey del Pollo!

StageManager
Ash Peterman
This is Ash Peterman’s (Stage Manager – They/Them) second show with Echo Theatre and they are incredibly excited to be back at the Bath House! Some of their recent work includes Most Likely Forever Yours the Elevator Project at Wyly Theatre (Stage Manager), Feeding the Cat, Incorrectly, Several Times Over with Echo Theatre (Wardrobe Assistant), Death Express! with Pegasus Theatre (Assistant Stage Manager), and the Theatre Three 2024-2025 Apprenticeship Program where they completed the Production Assistant track working on all NYAS shows that season. When not working they spend their time sewing, painting, or planning for their upcoming wedding.

Joe Chapa
Joe Chapa (Raymundo) is an Associate Professor of Theatre at The University of Texas at Arlington, where he teaches stage combat, acting, and improvisation. A certified teacher of stage combat with Dueling Arts International, Joe has contributed to numerous productions across the metroplex as a choreographer, director, and actor. He is thrilled to make his debut with Echo Theatre and especially excited for the chance to share the stage with his daughter. Joe extends heartfelt thanks to Amanda for this opportunity, to the remarkable cast and crew for their dedication, and to his amazing Esposa and patient pets for their unwavering support.

Jovane Caamaño
Jovane Caamaño (Jeff) is thrilled to return to Echo Theatre! Regionally, he’s also worked with Stage West Theatre, Amphibian Stage, Kitchen Dog Theatre, Circle Theatre, Undermain Theatre, Theatre Three, Hip Pocket Theatre, Danielle Georgiou Dance Group, Theatre Arlington, Second Thought Theatre, and the Trinity Shakespeare Festival. Jovane earned his BFA in Theatre from Texas Christian University and is passionate about his work teaching fine arts at Key School and Training Center and with Story Stage. Jovane would like to thank Echo for having him again, and thank his family, friends, and partner, Levi, for all their amazing love and support.

Caitlin Chapa
Caitlin Chapa (Gisela) is so excited to return to Echo Theater after most recently being seen as Jo in Feeding the Cat, Incorrectly, Several Times Over. A Dallas native and Booker T. Washington alum, Caitlin earned her BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University and has performed at theatres across the metroplex including: Theatre Three, WaterTower, Teatro Dallas, Shakespeare Dallas, Casa Mañana, and Fair Assembly. Recent credits include Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar with WaterTower and Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest with Shakespeare Dallas. She sends love and gratitude to her husband Jon, her friends, family, and the incredible team at Echo!

Carrie Viera
Carrie is thrilled to return to Echo Theatre for another production!
Her recent stage credits include A Dallas Hedda at Bishop Arts Theatre, Catch As Catch Can at Echo Theatre, and The Amazing, Fabulous, and Spectacular Untruths of Juan Garcia at Amphibian Stage. She would also like to give a special thanks to her loved ones and E. Their support means the world.

Mia Azuaje
This is Mia M. Azuaje’s (Cordelia) third show with Echo Theatre and she is incredibly excited to be back at the Bath House! Some of her recent work includes As You Like It at Shakespeare Live (Rosalind), Crystal City 1969 at Cara Mía Theatre (Ensemble), Beyond The Yellow Wallpaper with Echo Theatre (Katherine), and Tartuffe at Shakespeare Everywhere (Marianne). When not working performance she spends her time producing film, writing, working sound for different Dallas Theaters, and working for Record U!

Raymond Banda
Raymond is happy to be marking his first production for Echo. Previously working with The Dallas Children’s Theater, Theatre Three, Pocket Sandwich Theater and many productions for Pegasus Theatre including their trademarked Living Black and White shows, also serving as the director for their adaptations into RadioVision, recreating the feel of an old time radio broadcast for a live audience. Raymond has also managed and worked with Le Theatre de Marionette, specializing in classical European style marionette productions and Slappy’s Puppet Playhouse. This is dedicated to Lulu, Alice, Ian and the memory of John Harvey.

Ron Fernandez
Ron Fernandez is a Costa Rican lyricist and actor. You might have seen him in shows such as "Diaries of Adam and Eve", "Savage Love", "Big Love", and "Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Hip Pocket Theater in Fort Worth, or listened to his albums "LiteBLU" or "Lonely Ones". Ron is driven to theater because of his love of soul, psychology, and character. His music highlights the same love for reflection, and his captivation of what it means to be an individual.

Rudy Lopez
RUDY LOPEZ (Edgardo) Rudy is a Mexican American stage, VO, and film & TV actor and director based in Dallas, TX. His most recent acting credits include Touchstone in As You Like It at Shakespeare LIVE. Telemachus in The Odyssey at Shakespeare Dallas, Landscaper in Native Gardens at Dallas Theater Center, and Ensemble in The Butterfly’s Evil Spell with Theatre Three. He is a Crunchyroll VA and can be heard in your favorite animes like One Piece, Solo Leveling, Twilight Out Of Focus, Apothecary Diaries, and many more! You can also hear his voice in several commercials like Progressive, Cricket Wireless, Bark Mobile. He would like to give thanks to his amazing director, cast, and crew for being a wonderful team and creating the best environment. Eric Garcia
Eric is delighted to be making his Echo Theatre debut! Some of his favorite credits include Elliott in Water by the Spoonful (Circle Theatre), Sebastian in Twelfth Night (Shakespeare Dallas), and Luisito in World Classic (Bishop Arts Theatre). Recent credits include Ensemble for Othello (Shakespeare Dallas) and Ensemble for Olivia O: The Musical (SheDFW). He has trained at The Playground Acting Program and Stage West. Eric would like to thank his friends, family, and Kiwi for all the love and support.

Set Design
Nicholas Thornburg
NICHOLAS THORNBURG is excited to be working on his first scenic design for Echo Theatre! Nicholas has worked professionally in the arts since 2007, including with Virginia Stage Company, Virginia Arts Festival, Virginia Opera, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Cleveland Playhouse, The Huntington, and others. He has also taught stagecraft and production at the Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk VA, served as Theatre Editor for AltDaily.com, and held the position of West Coast Operations Director for Vance Entertainment. He currently serves as Technical Director at Theatre Three. In his scant free time, Nicholas is also a freelance artisan carpenter.

Lighting Design
Eli Reed
This is Eli's (Lighting Designer) second show with Echo Theatre and their fifth show back at the Bath House! Some of their recent work includes Most Likely Forever Yours the Elevator Project at Wyly Theatre, Proving Up, Incorrectly, Unt Emeralds Dance Showcase, Death Express! with Pegasus Theatre, and they have recently become a full-time House electrician for Coppells Performing Arts Center.

Props Design
Isa Flores
This is Isa Flores’ (Props designer) third show with Echo Theatre, where recent SFX credits include Natural Shocks (2023) and Feeding the Cat, Incorrectly, Several Times Over (2024). Her sfx work was also seen this year in Othello at Shakespeare Dallas (2025), Into the Woods and Julius Caesar with Outcry Theatre (2025). She is lead box office agent at Theatre Three and in her spare time likes to paint and write.

Costume Design
Jessi Chavez
JESSI CHAVEZ (Costume Designer) is thrilled to be working with Echo Theatre. Jessi’s past shows recently Noise’s Off with MainStage Irving and Disaster! With Frisco Theatre. Jessi’s has also worked with Pegasus Theatre, Uptown Players, Garland Summer Musicals and many more. When not in a theater, Jessi can be found at The Dallas Costume Shoppe stitching away costumes for her next show.

John M. Flores (Sound Designer) Happily returns to the Bath House with Echo, having previously designed Ruined and Night Mother. Other notable designs include Trinity Rep: La Tempestad, Sweat, Native Gardens. Kitchen Dog Theater: Queen of Basel, Wolf at The Door, You Got Older, Radiant Vermin. Dallas Theater Center: Real Women Have Curves, Fade, Gloria, A Raisin in the Sun, Clybourne Park. David Saldivar
David Saldivar (Fight Choreographer - He/Him) is a certified Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, an Associate Member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and a licensed pyrotechnician. His most recent work includes Julius Caesar and King Lear at Shakespeare Dallas, The Mystery of Irma Vep and Carrie at Theatre Three, Death Trap and Into the Breeches at MainStage Irving, As You Like It at Shakespeare Live! in Arlington, and Everyone is Talking ABout Jamie at Uptown Players. He is the current lead

Conor Clark
Conor is excited to be part of the team bringing this story to life. He is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, and has been designing, building, and performing for 20 years. This is his first production with Echo Theatre and his first build at the Bath House. Recent works include design for Joseph! with the Hopeful Theatre Project, Shrek at Upright Theatre, and is currently the Backstage Operations Manager for Shakespeare Dallas’ production of Taming of the Shrew.
