An Iowa divorcee takes in a roommate direct from the Bronx. A Regional Premiere.

Ellen Locy & Merri Brewer brought The Roommate to life with humor, warmth, and heartbreak. Unfortunately, they have fallen ill and will not be able to go on with their closing performances today.

We will present The Roommate as a free staged reading instead.

Managing & Artistic Director Kateri Cale and frequent Echo actor Connie Gold have generously stepped in to read the play. This will be a very different, informal presentation. Kateri and Connie will perform while holding scripts, without the full staging and production elements of the original production.

We would be glad to welcome you for this unique and impromptu presentation of The Roommate by Jen Silverman.

Have your cookout early, and spend the hot afternoon with us inside. We promise there will be fireworks.
